Briana is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who has experience working with diverse populations in a variety of clinical settings. She has extensive training in working with couples and families and has completed Level 1 and Level 2 Trainings in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy.
Briana is an experienced clinician who works with individuals who have endured traumatic events, as well as clients who are survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault. She is also passionate about advancing her work with clients within the maternal and perinatal mental health realm.
Briana believes that in order to create a space for change, clients must feel supported, respected, and understood. Her goal is to encourage client self-determination towards personal exploration and improving interpersonal relationships to encourage individual growth.
Briana integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Adlerian Therapy, and tailors her therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs of each person she works with and aims to create a collaborative and empathetic space for client exploration and growth.
Briana accepts clients who utilize the following insurance plans: BCBS PPO, Aetna, Optum, and UBH/United Healthcare. Briana also accepts self-pay clients.
