Madeline Enervold, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who provides therapy for young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, maternal mental health, fertility challenges, parenting concerns, and women’s issues. She also offers LGBTQ+ support and helps clients through major life transitions. Madeline earned her Master of Social Work from Aurora University and brings a strong belief in the importance of community and connection to overall well-being.
With over five years of experience in private practice, community mental health, and outpatient settings, Madeline supports clients through every stage of life. She draws from evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Motivational Therapy, while also using strength-based techniques. Her flexible approach allows her to tailor each session to the client’s needs in a supportive, collaborative space.
Madeline understands the challenges clients face in today’s fast-paced world. When working with anxiety, she focuses on slowing down, helping clients shift away from constant productivity and instead tune into their individual needs. In her work with maternal mental health, Madeline takes a realistic and understanding approach, drawing from her own experience as a mother. She recognizes the profound shifts that occur throughout every stage of parenthood—from pregnancy through the empty nest years—and supports women through each transition. For clients facing fertility challenges, Madeline acknowledges the grief and frustration that can come with feeling disconnected from one’s body. She provides empathetic listening, validation, and encouragement to help rebuild trust in oneself, even through small but meaningful steps.
Outside of therapy, Madeline enjoys the creativity of crocheting, coaching color guard and winter guard, and cozy fall days. If she weren’t a therapist, she would be a librarian, drawn to her love of storytelling through both reading and listening.
