He helps clients explore the roots of self-esteem and rebuild healthier relationships with themselves through evidence-based assessments and a strength-based approach.
Matthew understands the isolation anxiety often creates and he integrates Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients manage anxious thoughts and develop coping tools. He also uses a Solution-Focused approach to support clients in identifying stressors, setting boundaries, and building practical strategies like relaxation and time management to feel more grounded and balanced.
Matthew holds a BS from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern Illinois University. He continues to build clinical experience as a behavioral technician for neurofeedback and developed a strong passion for helping others through his volunteer work at The Trevor Project and the Crisis Center.
