Kelli Majka, LPC, was inspired to become a therapist by her positive experience that she has had with mental health professionals throughout her lifetime. Offering sessions to couples and individuals ranging from teens, young adults, and adults, Kelli advises on relationship issues, divorce, and anxiety. Additionally, she has also supported clients with life changes/adjustments and parenting issues. Before the last two years of her therapy practice, Kelli received her Masters of Arts at Lewis University.
In her sessions, Kelli uses modalities such as:
“Coming to therapy is brave, and I want clients to feel proud of that from the very first session—we’ll work together in a safe, supportive, and even sometimes humorous way,” Kelli shares. Kelli’s approach as a therapist is described as a down-to-earth collaborative style that resonates with clients that want honest conversations, practical tools, and a space where they don’t feel judged. At times, she uses humor when it fits, which creates comfort, builds rapport, and reminds clients that growth doesn’t always have to feel heavy. Kelli believes in meeting people where they are and working together in a way that feels real, supportive, and useful.
If Kelli wasn’t a therapist, she would love to be an author. Outside of her clinical practice, Kelli enjoys live stand up comedy as a viewer and performer, playing board games, and reading on rainy days.
