Rebecca Hiltz didn’t come to therapy from the outside looking in. She’s experienced firsthand what it feels like to need support – and to find it. That’s not a footnote in her story; it’s the whole reason she became a therapist.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University, Rebecca works with young adults, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, and stress. She also supports clients with managing ADHD, OCD, mood disorders, life transitions, and perinatal and maternal mental health. Wherever you are in life, and whatever you’re carrying, she meets you there – without judgment, without pressure, and without a one-size-fits-all approach.
Her sessions draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy – a versatile set of tools she tailors to what you actually need. For anxiety, that often means exploring root causes rather than just managing symptoms. For depression, it means building real, sustainable coping skills. For clients who are new to therapy, it means starting wherever feels manageable.
“I would love to be able to help someone else in the same way that I have received help when I needed it,” Rebecca says. That’s not a tagline – it’s the reason she shows up.
With Rebecca, you’re not just getting a clinician. You’re getting someone who genuinely believes in your capacity to feel better – and who will walk alongside you until you believe it too.
Outside the therapy room, Rebecca is a heavy metal fan and proud cat mom to Caddy and Odin. In another life, she’d be a kindergarten teacher.
