Lindsey Webber (M.Ed, LCPC) became a therapist as she believes helping both youth and adults navigate life’s most difficult moments is profoundly inspiring. Offering sessions to both groups and individuals including teens, young adults, and adults, Lindsey specializes in topics like religious/spiritual, trauma/PTSD, and self-esteem/self-worth. She also supports individuals experiencing depression, life changes/adjustments, and relationship issues. She received her Master of Arts in Education and Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University.
Lindsey uses modalities like:
Specifically, Lindsey has received additional education specifically centered around religious trauma. She has undergone various training from The Religious Trauma Institute, and has her Religious Trauma Studies Certification from The Global Center for Religious Research. She has a vast experience in supporting individuals impacted by religious harm, religious trauma, faith deconstruction, and recovery from high-control religious environments, and helps clients process spiritual wounds, rebuild trust in themselves, and reclaim autonomy without shame. As an LCPC with specialized training in complex trauma, crisis intervention, and grief recovery, she supports clients in understanding how trauma lives in both the body and mind.
“There is something deeply powerful about being trusted with another person’s most vulnerable thoughts and experiences,” Lindsey shares. She would describe her approach as trauma-informed, steady, and deeply respectful of each person’s evolving beliefs and values, creating a therapeutic environment that feels comfortable, validating, and emotionally safe. She works with her clients to build internal confidence, healthy boundaries, and a more compassionate relationship with self. Lindsey continues to say: “I often think of my role as part supportive cheerleader and part thoughtful guide: someone who provides a safe space for processing while also asking meaningful questions that encourage growth.”
If Lindsey wasn’t a therapist, she would want to run a cat shelter that does adoption cat yoga classes. In her free time, she loves thrifting for vintage and antique treasures, live music, and hiking.
