I have a passion for working with adolescent and adult individuals who are in need or desire a more meaningful life and who are struggling to make meaning out of their current circumstances. I have a very client-centered approach to my therapy sessions. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship for recovery. Therapy should be a warm and nurturing environment. I try my very best to meet clients where they are, and I strive to promote positive emotional health by guiding clients through the process of self-exploration, building healthy relationships, and developing healthy emotional expression.
I am a licensed counselor with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College. My psychotherapeutic experiences include residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings. I have experience working with individuals who are struggling with symptoms of mood disorders, grief/loss, and life transitions.
My psychotherapeutic orientation is eclectic and I make every individual experience unique, whether that be through the teaching of coping skills, or through self-exploration.
